Community resources near you

Family Service Centres, food distribution points, and crisis lines — filtered by your postal sector, not generic national lists.

Family Service Centres

Each FSC covers set postal codes — for example Montfort Care or PPIS centres serve different parts of Singapore. Walk in for marital, parenting, or financial stress counselling; caseworkers can refer you to SSO for ComCare.

Bring NRIC and proof of address. First intake takes 30–45 minutes. Issues like domestic violence or child protection follow confidential protocols separate from general enquiries.

Food assistance

Food from the Heart, mosque and church distributions, and community fridges operate on fixed schedules. Some require SSO or FSC referral letters; others register by phone. We maintain a Tiong Bahru and Bukit Merah list and expand when you share your postal code.

Crisis and mental health lines

National Care Hotline (1771), Samaritans of Singapore (1-767), and IMH emergency services handle immediate risk. Financial stress and mental health often overlap — we refer to clinical services when needed while continuing programme guidance separately.

Community clubs and RC funds

Residents' Committees and Community Clubs run bursaries, elder activities, and small emergency grants. MP offices can write support letters for HDB or SSO appeals when your case fits their criteria.

Printed guides at our office

We keep quarterly-updated directories at 298 Tiong Bahru Road. You can read them during office hours or request a postal-sector pack by email.
