Home Caregiving Grant
The Home Caregiving Grant pays monthly cash to families caring for someone with moderate or severe disability at home. A Functional Assessment Report from a qualified therapist sets the tier. Means-testing uses the care recipient's household, not only the caregiver's income.
Report changes in condition before renewal — improvements can lower tiers; deterioration may qualify for higher support if reassessed.
Elder day-care and home care subsidies
Subsidised elder day-care, home medical, and nursing visits reduce daily costs while family members work. Subsidy rates follow means-test results from the Agency for Integrated Care. Centres have waitlists — apply before care is urgently needed.
Some centres provide transport from your block; others require own arrangement. We list options near your postal code during consultation.
SG Enable and disability support
Assistive technology funds, home modification grants, and therapy subsidies flow through SG Enable and partner hospitals. Congenital and acquired conditions use different assessment tracks — submit the correct medical history to avoid rejection.
Respite care
Short stays in nursing homes or extra home nursing hours give caregivers rest. Referrals usually come through medical social workers or AIC care managers. Plan ahead; emergency respite slots are limited.
